The Whitewater River while containing some brown trout is primarily a sea trout fishery with the occasional salmon. The best of the fishing is in September and October but a spate is necessary. It is a medium sized river (5-20m) and while the fly can be fished on both all legal methods are allowed. There is a disabled pool although at present there is no ghillie service available.
