The Roe is a medium sized (5—20m) spate river with fine runs of sea trout and salmon. There is plenty of good fly water although spinning and worming are also permitted. Sea trout fishing is usually at its best in July and August and salmon from August to the end of the season. A guide or ghillie service may be arranged through the day ticket outlet.
